At the beginning of 2026, the acquisition of an office complex in the center of Brno, which includes the historic Keller Palace, was initiated. Fidurock has big development plans for the building, which it is purchasing from the energy group E.ON. Our goal is to transform the office complex into modern residential housing with 250 apartments intended for direct sale.

Keller Palace, one of the most important palace complexes in Brno from the second half of the 19th century, is an unmissable architectural gem in the style of Northern Italian Neo-Renaissance. Its imposing thirteen-axis facade at today's Lidická Street 36, originally built for factory owner Josef Keller in 1880-81 according to a design by the renowned Viennese office of Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer, captivates with its monumentality and elegance. The palace underwent a series of adaptations during the 20th century under the administration of energy companies such as Západomoravské elektrárny and Jihomoravská energetika, but the main palace building has retained its exceptionally authentic condition, which still bears witness to the original splendor and financial and social capital of Josef Keller. It is precisely this historical value and unique character of the building that will form the basis for its sensitive conversion.
The property still belongs to and will continue to serve the energy companies EG.D and E.ON until they move to a new building in September this year. Nevertheless, this strategic move already represents another shift in Fidurock's portfolio, with an ambitious plan to completely redevelop the existing office space into a modern residential complex with 250 residential units.
