FIDUROCK Secures Building Permit for Renovation of Apartment Building in Brno

The architecturally significant five-story corner building, designed by architect Jan Mráček in 1907 for builder Karel Čupr, was influenced by the fortification style of the time and anticipated architectural trends in Czech architecture over the following decade. Now, the building is set for a major transformation. With the recently secured building permit, a complete renovation will restore the building to its original purpose—residential housing. The renovation work is set to begin in Q2 2021, and upon completion by the end of 2022, the building will offer 52 residential units.
