FOR ARCH 2025 and Studio ČT24: Petr Vondrášek on the Future of Rental Housing

As part of the FOR ARCH 2025 trade fair in Prague’s Letňany district, a panel discussion took place on the topic Rental Housing Today and in the Future. Among the speakers was Petr Vondrášek, Asset Management Director at Fidurock, who shared our perspective on current developments in the rental housing market.

Rental housing today is not a Plan B. It is a flexible and attractive choice that offers people freedom without the long-term commitment of a mortgage.

He also emphasized that in highly attractive neighborhoods such as Prague’s Vinohrady or Letná, rental housing offers a more accessible path to living without the need for a large upfront investment. These very locations are the focus of Fidurock’s real estate fund investment strategy, which targets an expected return of 6–9% p.a.

The panel discussion further featured Pavel Kelner (Česká spořitelna), Stanislav Martinec (KOMA Modular), David Bureš (Flet), and Milan Roček (Flatzone).

Petr Vondrášek also shared his insights live from the fair in an interview for Studio ČT24. You can watch the czech recording here from 1:30.

Industry experts at the conference agreed that rental housing will play an increasingly important role in how people choose to live, invest, and plan for the future.
